Ryan Deiss’s All Access Club

March 22, 2007

Have you heard of Ryan Deiss? If you’ve been involved with Internet marketing at all his name may sound familiar to you or you may have even purchased one or more of his products or memberships. Such sites that come to mind Content Goldmine, Nicheology and Piggy-Back Traffic.

I’ve had the opportunity to join one of his coaching sessions in the past, an info product creation package that he and Jimmy D. Brown worked on together and have been a member of Nicheology.com as well.

I must tell you that Ryan is not skimpy on the details at all with everything that he does. I have purchased many info products and most times there seems to be chunks of information lacking that I feel would help me better understand what to do with my internet marketing ventures, but with Ryan he REALLY gets his hands dirty and never fails to follow through with a step by step process.

He has just opened up a new program called the All Access Club. Ryan is going to let members of this small group look over his shoulder as he works on his business projects, each step of the way. Since I have been a member of Ryan’s in the past, I jumped on this opportunity right away.

It’s not inexpensive by any means but if you want to get to the next level with your online ventures, I highly recommend you take a look to see if this opportunity might be right for you. As I’m writing this he only has 89 more openings .

Here is the link to the All Access Club if you are interested in more information.

Is Your Company Brand Identity Strong?

March 21, 2007

Your brand identity communicates a promise from your company to your customer. Your brand identity consists of your logo, business card, letterhead, website and all other marketing and advertising collateral. When a customer looks at your brand identity, what do they see? What is their perception of your company?

You may run your business from your dining room table, be a company of 1 or only work your business part time. Whatever the scenario, your brand identity is still important. When a client looks at your business card or your website, they should never be able to tell or even get the perception that you work from home.

You can be a SOHO (small office home office) business and have the look and feel of a fortune 500 company. Here are some tips to follow:

1. Choose a logo design that communicates your company’s promise
2. Be sure to add your logo to your business cards, letterhead and website
3. Make sure your company logo is on all your company marketing and advertising collateral
4. Make sure your email address used on your website, business cards and letterhead is your company email and not your personal aol, yahoo or gmail email.

Here is a short list of online companies that design logos, business cards, letterhead and websites for a reasonable fee:

* LogoWorks
* The LogoLoft
* LogoJeez

Happy Branding!

Don’t Be Late For Your Appointments On Monday

March 10, 2007

One short day to go before we have to turn our clocks forward. But DST comes early this year. Will your computer know it?

If you’re not sure, run a system’s update right now. For those on PC, go to Start >> All Programs >> Windows Update. Or you could download the update from Microsoft.

On the Mac, it’s System Preference >> Software Update

While you’re doing this, don’t forget your other tools too. If you run Outlook or Office there are a bunch of updates. If you have Windows mobile, Palm or whatever PDA’s please check the manufacturer’s site. Not sure about phones though.

Which Do You Prefer - Mac or PC?

March 1, 2007

It’s time again for me to purchase a new computer for my business.

I have always been a PC user but with recent ads I’ve been seeing and articles about the new Windows Vista program compared to Macs I just had to take a look to see what Apple has to offer. They look pretty cool and I even drove 45 minutes away to have a look at one close and personal at my nearest Circuit City. I couldn’t believe how small their Mini Mac is - just too cute for a computer.

Anyway, I’m up in the air as to which route I should take this time - PC or Mac. If anyone out there has had experience with both I would love to hear your opinions as to which one you prefer and why.
