This Grammie Is Also A WAHM
Yes, I’m a grammie. That really doesn’t have anything to do with my being a WAHM. I mention it only because I want to convey to other “more mature” moms that age need not be a barrier to learning new things and undertaking new challenges.
I recently retired after teaching high school mathematics for 29 years. I was tired of getting up and going to school every day, but I wasn’t tired of education and learning. Finding a way to stay involved in a field I am passionate about while working from home has been absolutely wonderful! I like to call it my second career.
As grammies often are, I am the “on call anytime we need her” sitter for my two-year old granddaughter. Of course I wouldn’t have it any other way. But I have to tell you, trying to get much work done with her around is quite a challenge. I find myself wondering how you younger wahms with small children at home ever get anything done! You all are truly amazing and I have the utmost respect for all that you accomplish.
So all you grammies, jump right on in! You have all those life experiences to draw on and have much to contribute. Learning never ends, and besides haven’t you heard? Fifty is now the new thirty!

Keeping Track of Your Affiliate Accounts
I’ve been working with several various affiliate programs and have been looking for a way to keep everything organized.
I use to print out all of my emails that contained my affiliate links, login information etc. – It soon became frustrating going through the paperwork.
I then bought an address book and started writing the information down in that, it was working okay but I wanted something that I could do right on my computer.
I then turned to Excel and was trying to keep track of my info there but for some reason I just didn’t like having to put the data there, it just seemed to time consuming.

Effective Article Marketing
I just came across a free report today that discusses 10 mistakes that can dampen an article marketer’s success.
I’ve done a little article marketing and as one of my goals for this year I plan to do it on a steady basis, so reading what Chris Crompton had to say in this report has shed some light on a few things for me and I intend to use some techiniques that he mentions.
If you’re starting out or have been doing article marketing it really is worth the read.
I would love to hear your comments and thoughts on this report.
HelpDesk On A Shoestring Budget
Why use a helpdesk? The answer is simple. Emails are a bear to manage and very ineffective for customer support. They get lost, and if you have someone help you with customer service, you don’t know what has transpired between the customer and your support staff. That’s just the tip of the ice berg.
For a while, I have been using EXOHelpDesk a free help desk but one thing that irks me most is the inability to mass delete emails and a few things I wanted to change.
Well, I have just tested this one Support Logic. What I love about it is, whenever you take action on a ticket it emails your customer. That way they know exactly what’s happening with the ticket and you’re working on it. Nice interface, easy to get going and understand.
If however, you aren’t adverse to spending some money on a help desk, do so because many free ones still fall short somewhere and many of these free projects become dead after a while. Kayako is very popular, but put Auracle Support Engine into your list of considerations. It really packs a lot of features for the price and they have great support.

Crazy Commute Reminds This WAHM How Good She Has It!
After a very early start to my day, bundling up my babies, getting out in the rush hour, maneuvering through construction and detours, getting lost, and avoiding the crazy drivers on the road …. I stopped to thank God I am able to be a stay at home mom!
I am blessed not to deal with these things everyday. Why was I out in this mess? We had an appointment for my toddler at a hosp. & it was in the downtown area. After the commute I felt true relief that this wasn’t my typical day.
Sometimes you need to be reminded of how great you and your kids have it and yesterday was my not so gentle reminder.
