Promote Affiliate Links Offline

Most people promote affiliate links using the internet and there might be some major competition depending on your target market. It is not a good idea to cease your online promotion strategies all together, but it might be good to add some offline promotion to increase the commissions. When people promote offline they can redirect their affiliate links. It can be very simple to do and you can create a page with some HTML code that will automatically send your visitors to your affiliate program link. If you want to promote an auto responder then you can name the page ‘Auto responder’.

You can also make some flyer designs and promote from home. If you have a mailing list that you can send these flyers to it would be great. You can buy these types of lists from marketing companies. Companies sell off these lists to large and small companies around the world. If you want to design your own flyer then you can design it, print it out and then make copies on a copy machine. You can walk around town and post your flyers anywhere. Put them up in your local grocery store or on bulletin boards. The mall, post office and library are also some good places to put your flyers up. Use colored paper that will grad your audience’s attention and create a catchy headline that is clear to read and direct.

You can also use car magnets to promote your affiliate links and stick them to the side of your car. It will look like a big message is painted on the side of your car. Place the magnets wherever you want on your car and then when you are out you will be promoting your car even without doing anything at all.

You can also decorate a cardboard box and then place a sign on it saying ‘Free Drawing’ and offer people some sort of a prize. You can make up some entry forms at your local office supply and print shop and then take the box around to local shops, salons, convenience stores, grocery stores and anywhere else that comes to mind. You can en leave the box in place for a week and then take all the entry forms and email the people that didn’t win and appreciate their entry and let them know and email the winner. Provide affiliate links in your email, links back to your website and you can add some of these names to your regular mailing list. You can then try a direct mailing campaign of some sort and get the word out.
