Increase Affiliate Sales - Give Something Away for FREE

Your affiliate sales will increase if you give some information on your service or product away. People are thrilled when they get something for free and you can use free information giveaways as your method in building up your sales. For example, cosmetic and make up companies are always offering a ‘free gift’ with purchase or a specific purchase amount. People will buy things they did not intend to buy, just because they see ‘free gift’. You can also use this type of method with your own company and offer a free gift after a purchase has been made.
If you are unsure on what you can offer your visitors then do some brainstorming. If you are selling a baby product then maybe you could offer some free advice on how parents can keep their kids flu-free during flu season or recipes for healthy baby food.
You will be able to build your mailing list by giving away free information. You will always be able to keep in touch with your visitors and let them know about your products or services and how valuable they are. Having a mailing list is a great way to build trust between you and your visitors, therefore, making them feel comfortable in purchasing from you.
Offer mini e-courses on some topics that relate to the product you are trying to sell. For example, if your target is parents that have lower incomes and tight budgets, and you would like to sell an e-book about how parents can save on vacations, offer an e-course that provides some information on the subject. Send an email each day with a ‘tip’ or a ‘lesson’ from the e-book. Make sure your subscribers know that they have to purchase the e-book if they want to learn more. Once your subscribers have all been given lessons from the e-course, keep sending them email and e-book reminders. Only do this every now and then because if you overload their inbox with emails they will get upset and lose interest. No one likes a pushy sales approach in any shape or form. Use your mailing list to promote other budget friendly travel products such as hotels, discount airline tickets and luggage. The possibilities are endless when it comes to travel discounts. You can’t ever give too much information away and you can always use the free information to explain and enhance the product you are selling and its bonuses.
