Crazy Commute Reminds This WAHM How Good She Has It!

After a very early start to my day, bundling up my babies, getting out in the rush hour, maneuvering through construction and detours, getting lost, and avoiding the crazy drivers on the road …. I stopped to thank God I am able to be a stay at home mom!

I am blessed not to deal with these things everyday. Why was I out in this mess? We had an appointment for my toddler at a hosp. & it was in the downtown area. After the commute I felt true relief that this wasn’t my typical day.

Sometimes you need to be reminded of how great you and your kids have it and yesterday was my not so gentle reminder.

    I hear you Nell. When my boys and I have to be somewhere it always becomes a game with them to run and hide from Mommy when I’m trying to get them dressed.

    If I had to go through that everyday I would pull all my hair out. :) I’m also VERY glad and fortunate to be able to work from home.

    It was eye opening to what my mornings will be like everyday once my kids are in school. hehe
