I have two children ages 5 and 2. I live in Minnesota. I try to live a healthy and environmentally friendly lifestyle. I like taking walks, reading and spending time with my family.

What inspired you to become a work at home mom:
I did not want to put my children in daycare and I want to be here for my family as much as possible. I really like the flexibility it gives us.

Tell us a little about your business:
My business is really about two different things, natural parenting and tie dye. I am very passionate about cloth diapering so I decided to start selling them. I also added some of the natural and organic skin products I use that my friends love. Then I started a website.
Tie dying is one of my hobbies. I started tie dying my son’s diapers and added them to my website. Now I have expanded into clothig for babies, children and the adults. It just keeps growing and growing as people request more items from me!

Is there any advice you would like to share with other women:
Enjoy the moments in life. Its really all we have.

What has been the most effective advertising method for you:
Networking and attending shows. For me, starting local and building my internet business on the side is working best.

Can you share with us one negative business experience that your learned from:
I have gotten burned by being too trustworthy of others. You have to be careful about sending out your products with promises of payment in the mail or bartering with others and expecting something in return later. You may never see it. But I truly believe in karma so thats OK!
